Kai Kight Reflects on 2020
Kai Kight, AAOE’s 2021 Annual Conference Opening Keynote Speaker, reflects on the impact of 2020 on his life and art, sharing his learnings. He shares the struggles he faced due to the challenges of the year and what he’s discovered. He encourages us not to run from our innate wisdom, but to instead focus on the journey, not the finish line. “To be a composer is to understand that sometimes the end product of effort isn’t something we can see…the end product is our own wisdom, our own insight…we have to trust that those insights are not wasted time.”
